This weekend Rocky's Dad came up for a visit. He was very sweet to come and see us all the way from Mississippi. It's a long way here from central Mississippi even by plane. We had a great time hanging out with him and taking him to a few of our favorite restaurants. Rocky's dad is always so kind to us and the visit seemed so short. We look forward to seeing him again hopefully in October. Above is a picture of the three of us. I meant to have a waiter take one of us at the restaurant, but I forgot so I had to set the timer on my camera at home. I think it turned out okay. Below is a picture of Rocky and his dad at
Lynn's Paradise Cafe. This restaurant is super yummy and has even been featured on the Food Network. It's a little crazy inside and out, but that's what makes it so fun.
Rocky and I were in a 4 mile race this weekend that started at Slugger Field. We were presently surprised to get a visit from the Bat's mascot, Buddy the bat. This picture was made after the race. We were lucky enough to have cool weather and an overcast sky. It was also a flat course which made it easier. It was a lot of fun and went to support Kiwanis Kids.

Looks like another fun weekend at the Clark home! So i think Rocky's dad looks younger with the hat. I almost didn't recognize him :)

There is always some type of excitement in the Clark home! It's always good to have family visit you in your home. Kuddos for keeping the running up and accomplishing yet another race! I bet you are toned and fit! :)
